Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) POLICY

For G&I Training Academy Additional Education Center, high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance are a fundamental value and an integral part of all our training, consultancy and other activities.

As a professional training and consultancy organization, we are committed to providing a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible training and working environment for our employees, trainers, delegates, clients, contractors and all other persons who may be affected by our activities.

Our HSE commitments apply wherever we operate — at G&I Training Academy premises, client premises, training venues, practical training sites and other third-party locations where we provide training or consultancy services.

Our primary objective is to prevent injuries, occupational ill health, incidents, property damage and adverse environmental impacts, while promoting a Zero Harm culture across all our activities.

OUR HSE COMMITMENTS

To achieve these objectives, G&I Training Academy is committed to:

  • Complying with all applicable national legislation, regulatory requirements, client requirements and relevant international standards;
  • Providing and maintaining a safe and healthy training and working environment for employees, trainers, delegates, clients, contractors and visitors;
  • Ensuring that training and consultancy services are delivered by competent and appropriately qualified professionals;
  • Identifying hazards and conducting appropriate risk assessments before commencing activities;
  • Ensuring that practical training activities, including HSE, working at height, lifting operations, fire safety and other practical programmes, are properly planned, risk assessed and conducted under controlled and safe conditions;
  • Ensuring that training equipment, tools and other resources used during practical training are suitable, safe, properly maintained and fit for purpose;
  • Complying with the applicable HSE rules, procedures and site safety requirements of clients and host organizations when delivering training at their premises;
  • Continuously developing the HSE knowledge, competence and awareness of our trainers and employees;
  • Ensuring the appropriate reporting, investigation and prevention of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions;
  • Supporting the right and responsibility of every employee and training participant to stop or suspend an activity where an unacceptable risk or unsafe condition is identified;
  • Promoting responsible use of resources, waste minimisation and pollution prevention, and reducing the environmental impact of our activities;
  • Continually improving our HSE performance and safety culture.

SAFETY CULTURE

We believe that safety is a shared responsibility. G&I Training Academy is committed to leading by example by applying the same HSE principles in our own operations that we promote through our professional training programmes.

Wherever we deliver training, safety always comes first.
