Forklift Truck Operator training course

G&I Training Academy provides international (AITT approved) and local (MES approved Training Methodology) ForkLift Truck Operator (counterbalance) training course.

Introduction

This course is designed to give personnel an understanding of the requirements for the safe operation and performance of forklift trucks. It is beneficial for delegates that already have some level of experience but without previous formal training. 

Course Content

• Components of the forklift truck 
• Manoeuvre in restricted spaces loaded and unloaded 
• Pre-start safety checks 
• Principles of stability 
• Refuelling/recharging procedures 
• Stacking and de-stacking activities 
• Understanding of current legislation 
• Use of any equipment fitted to the forklift truck 

Certificate will be provided to each participant upon completion of the course.
