Basic First Aid -IRSM

"Basic First Aid" course conducted by G&I Training Academy is approved by IIRSM - International Institute of Risk and Safety Management of Great Britain. 

Introduction

This course is designed for personnel who may be involved in providing basic first aid at workplaces. First aid training helps employees learn to be more conscious of safety in the workplace, leading to a reduced number of accidents and injuries. Minimizing risk to workers and decreasing workplace incidents is a benefit to everyone. Course delegates will get a basic understanding of First Aid requirement at work and how to deal with simple injuries and medical emergencies until proper medical staff arrives. To successfully complete the course delegates must be able to read and write either in English, Azeri or Russian.

Course Content

The syllabus focuses on:

• Aims and objectives if First Aid
• Unconscious casualty assessment sequence
• Resuscitation techniques and information of Automated External Defibrillators
• Secondary survey, vital sign check, head to toe examination
• First aid in case of fracture
• Bleeding, wound and amputation, management of shock
• General medical emergencies

IIRSM Approved Certificate will be provided to each participant upon completion of the course.
